A useful platform helps people see what is happening. It gives developers a consistent interface, operators a request trail and decision-makers a clear account of the trade-offs.
That is why Strateline is organized around the lifecycle of a request. Each layer has a responsibility. Every transition should be explainable.
HOW WE THINK
Build for the people
who inherit it.
A production system will be used by someone who did not design it. Defaults should be sensible, changes should be traceable, and documentation should explain the decision as well as the command.
We prefer small surfaces that compose well: a familiar endpoint, an explicit routing policy, a useful event stream. Good infrastructure creates room for the work that matters.
